Vevey

Vevey is a picturesque town located on the north shore of Lake Geneva in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It's known for being a place of inspiration for many artists, including Charlie Chaplin, who spent the last years of his life there. Vevey is also the headquarters of food giant Nestlé.

The town offers a variety of attractions, including the Historical Museum of Vevey, the Swiss Museum of Games, the Photography Museum, and the Charlie Chaplin Museum. The Tuesday and Saturday market in the market square is a meeting place for locals and tourists alike. The Alimentarium, a museum dedicated to food, offers interactive exhibitions.

Vevey is also known for the Fête des Vignerons, which takes place every 20 to 25 years and is listed as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.
